Lily tattoo design commission for a friend of mine to put in the shoulder/sleeve area. Hopefully I'll be able to add to this with a picture of the real tattoo when she gets it done!

The scan came out a bit odd on some of the edges... the original is much more crisp and shaded, and the sketch book is bigger than the scanner. But at least it scans!

Edit: Thank you to all who have favourited/collected this piece! And I appreciate those who have taken the initiative thus far, and asked my permission to use it.

Anyone who would like to use this, please send me a note or message! I promise I won't bite, and I don't see myself saying no to anyone! I'm basically curious to see how many are actually going through with getting this tattooed onto themselves.

If anyone wants to share the final piece (aka coloured/inked!), i'd love to see it! I'm interested in seeing all the different variations. :aww:

Yeah, scanned drawings tend to come out a little rough for me too. It's high time to get a tablet. High time for me at least... :P

You definitely need to get a tablet! I looove mine, although I'm planning on upgrading soon to one with more sensitivity and whatnot. :)

Hey, it looks amazing. Perfect composure of drawing and background gradient. It ads so much more depth to picture than white paper. I just noticed shadow after few minutes of watching, very subtle. And effective. Great piece, keep it up.

Thanks for the reply! Yes, the subtle effects always help draw a person's eye in, and I enjoy using them. :)
